PERSONALITY
Tasha once described herself as an angry and frightened young girl, tempered by Starfleet. Passionate, earnest, and sometimes hotheaded, Tasha believes wholeheartedly in the principles of the Federation. As the security chief, the possibility of death on duty is never far from her mind, to the point where she kept an updated farewell message for her comrades for the inevitable. But she is not a grim, dour person. Despite--or because--of her harsh background and dangerous field, Tasha lives her life to the fullest, loves her crewmates as family, and tries to live every day like it could be her last.

0'0 . blue eyes. dyed blonde hair.Tasha is a human woman of average height, with a physically fit and athletic build. She is usually wearing her Starfleet uniform. Her hair is short and practical, but she dyes the top half blonde.
Tasha was born on Turkana IV, a "failed" Earth colony. What failure meant was the humans there turning back to the baser instincts of factionalism and violence that had nearly destroyed Earth itself in the pre-Federation days. Tasha and her sister Ishara were orphaned at a young age, and while they were briefly cared for by other adults, they were by and large forced to raise themselves in an atmosphere of lawlessness and constant violence. Tasha herself turned to drugs at one point to cope. At age 15, she got the chance to escape offworld thanks to Starfleet, but Ishara refused to join her. Tasha left on her own and eventually joined Starfleet, attending the Academy and becoming a security officer. During her first assignment, Captain Jean-Luc Picard was impressed by her courage and dedication, and requested her as his security chief for his new assignment--the Enterprise-D, flagship of the Federation.
During the Enterprise-D's first year of service, Tasha played a key role in many expeditionary, combat, and diplomatic missions. During a mission to rescue two crewmates from a downed shuttlecraft, Tasha was unexpectedly killed for defying their captor.
